Town Budget Workshops:
Every spring, the Town Council holds a series of public workshops to discuss the forecasted Town revenues and planned expenditures for the upcoming fiscal year which starts on July 1st. On Tuesday, April 12th, the Council held its first public workshop. At this workshop a comprehensive presentation was made by Town staff outlining their roles, accomplishments over the past fiscal year, as well as goals for the next fiscal year and some budget considerations. Considering the fact that Carefree has one of the smallest municipal staff’s and operational budgets within the state, this presentation provides an excellent high level understanding of the Town’s nimble organizational structure and the value of the professional services and dedication they provide to the Carefree community.

The next budget workshop will be held on Tuesday, April 19th, at 3:00 PM in Council Chambers. This workshop will provide a high level review of forecasted revenues and planned expenditures for the next fiscal year.
