Hello Carefree Community,
On May 16, 2023, Carefree residents will have the opportunity to vote in a special election to determine the direction the Town will take in regard to fire and emergency medical services within the community.
The Feb. 7th Town Council meeting brought excellent dialogue around the Fire and Emergency Medical Services in Carefree and Cave Creek. As Cave Creek celebrates its first year of Automatic Aid service, Emergency Management Risk Director Jim Ford, presented the process Cave Creek went through to switch to the Automatic Aid model of service, leading up to today.
We are grateful to the Town of Cave Creek officials for spending time with us to share their experiences and speak with our residents on this important issue.
