As we approach the 4th of July, the Town of Carefree wants to reminds residents and visitors that fireworks are strictly prohibited within town limits under Town Code 6-7. With fire danger extremely high and dry conditions persisting, the risk of wildfire is significant.
Fireworks have been a common cause of wildfires and can put our community and the nearby by national forest in danger. Please celebrate safely by exploring non-firework celebration options or attending a public fireworks events in the Valley where proper safety protocols are followed.
Together, we can protect Carefree’s unique desert environment and keep our community safe this holiday season.
