The 2026 Primary Election is coming up on Tuesday, July 21, 2026!
In this election, voters will elect three Town Councilmembers and one Mayor. Now is the time to make sure you are registered, your information is up to date.
The last day to register to vote for the Primary Election is Monday, June 22, 2026.
Registering to vote in Maricopa County is quick and easy. Eligible residents may register online through ServiceArizona.com, click the “Register to Vote” button below to get started.

Planning to be away from your residence during the election? Please plan ahead. Arizona law prohibits official election materials, including ballots, from being forwarded by the Post Office. To request that your ballot be sent to a temporary mailing address, contact Maricopa County Elections at (602) 506-1511 or email EVreq@maricopa.gov with your full name, residence address, temporary mailing address, and date of birth for verification.
Maricopa County will provide two voting options in Carefree this summer.
Beginning June 24, a ballot drop box will be available at Carefree Town Hall (E Sundial Circle). In-person voting will NOT be available at this location.
In mid-July, Maricopa County will open an in-person voting location at the Town Council Chambers (33 Easy Street). The official start date for in-person voting will be announced once it is confirmed.

June 22 — Last day to register to vote
June 24 — Early voting begins and ballots are mailed
June 24 — Ballot drop box opens at Carefree Town Hall
July 10 — Last day to request a ballot by mail
July 21 — Primary Election Day
