The 2026 General Election is coming up on Tuesday, November 3, 2026!
In this election, voters will choose between the two run-off candidates from the Primary Election for the last remaining Town Councilmember seat. Now is the time to make sure you are registered and your information is up to date.
The last day to register to vote for the General Election is Monday, October 5.

Planning to be away from your residence during the election? Please plan ahead. Arizona law prohibits official election materials, including ballots, from being forwarded by the Post Office. To request that your ballot be sent to a temporary mailing address, contact Maricopa County Elections at (602) 506-1511 or email EVreq@maricopa.gov with your full name, residence address, temporary mailing address, and date of birth for verification.
Maricopa County will provide two voting options in Carefree this fall.
Beginning October 7, a ballot drop box will be available at Carefree Town Hall (E Sundial Circle). In-person voting will NOT be available at this location.
On October 23, Maricopa County will open an in-person voting location at the Town Council Chambers (33 Easy Street) and the ballot drop-box will be moved to this location as well.

Oct. 23: Last day to request a replacement ballot by mail
Oct. 27: Last day to mail back your ballot
