Salary Range: $130,000–$180,000 annually

The Carefree Water Company is seeking an experienced, forward-thinking General Manager to lead all aspects of operations, administration, and strategic planning for a high-quality private water utility company serving the Town of Carefree. Reporting to the Board of Directors, this position serves as the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for overseeing staff, budgets, regulatory compliance, and long-term resource management.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction for all company operations and staff.
Manage budgets, contracts, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
Oversee water supply, treatment, storage, and distribution systems.
Develop long-range plans for water resources, infrastructure, and sustainability.
Represent the company to the public, regulatory agencies, and partner organizations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, environmental studies, economics, or a related field.
Management experience, including overseeing complex public works or utility projects and programs is highly desired.
