The Town of Carefree is looking for qualified architectural consultants to help create standardized residential housing plans in compliance with Arizona law (ARS § 9-461.20).  This project will produce preapproved single-family and accessory dwelling unit (ADU) plans that can be used for residential development, helping streamline the permitting process while ensuring compliance with building codes.

KEY DETAILS

• Plans to Include:  At least three single-family home designs, multiple elevations, and full construction document sets (site-specific work excluded)

• Timeline:  RFQ issued March 18, 2026; submittals due April 6, 2026; consultant selection by April 21, 2026

• Project Completion:  Must support Town adoption by June 30, 2026
