The quickest and easiest way to register is online through the Arizona EZ Voter Registration portal.

Once you're registered, you can check your voter status, find your polling place, or track your ballot at my.arizona.vote or the Maricopa County Voter Dashboard.
📅 Don’t forget: You must register at least 29 days before an election to be able to vote in it. Get registered today and be election-ready!
When Voting In-Person...
Voting in Carefree is super easy and convenient! During election season, the Town Council Chambers (33 Easy Street) typically serves as a dedicated in-person voting location, making it simple to cast your vote close to home. In addition, Town Hall (8 Sundial Circle) offers a secure Ballot Drop-Box for those who prefer to vote by mail.

Forwarding Ballots/Absentee Voting
If you're away from your residence during the election, remember that Arizona law prohibits forwarding official election materials like ballots. To arrange for your ballot to be sent to a temporary mailing address, contact the Maricopa County elections team at (602) 506-1511 or email EVreq@risc.maricopa.gov with your Full Name, Residence Address, Temporary Mailing Address, and Date of Birth for verification. For military personnel or family stationed out of the county, or for overseas residents, visit MilitaryOverseas.Maricopa.Vote for more information.
Tracking Your Ballot
