The Carefree Fire Department will be conducting a fire operations training drill on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hampton Inn in Carefree Town Center.
This drill is being conducted in coordination with the Hampton Inn’s management and staff and will involve a simulated fire scenario inside the building. Fire crews will be practicing essential emergency response skills, including fire suppression, evacuation procedures, victim rescue, and identifying potential obstacles that could arise during an actual emergency.
Residents and visitors may notice fire apparatus and personnel in the area during this time. Please be advised that this is only a training exercise and there is no real emergency taking place.
